About Me
About Me
Hello and welcome!
I’m Ercan Yavuz, a professional tour guide based in Turkey. I graduated from Balıkesir University in 2004 and have been working in the tourism industry ever since—fulfilling a lifelong passion.
I started my guiding career in various parts of Turkey, particularly in Western Anatolia, the Black Sea region, and Cappadocia. Eventually, I made Çanakkale my home and began focusing more on this historically rich area. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of leading both local and international groups, sharing the cultural, historical, and natural treasures of our country with enthusiasm and dedication.
I believe that guiding is a profession that requires continuous learning and self-improvement. With each tour, I strive to deepen my knowledge, discover new stories, and create meaningful experiences—not only for my guests, but also for myself. I’ve come to realize that travel is not just about places; it’s about people, perspectives, and stories that stay with you.
Today, I continue to guide actively across Turkey, especially in the Western Anatolia region.
Through this website, I aim to share insights from the road—memorable places, cultural encounters, and the little details that make each journey unique.
Whether you’re planning your first trip to Turkey or returning for a deeper experience, I invite you to explore with me. Let’s discover this incredible country together.
